A Thanksgiving Message from Your Favorite San Diego Solar Installers

2013 is coming to a close.  And as we look back on the previous 12 months, we have so much to be thankful for.

It’s been a great year.

Why exactly?

Check out 5 of the top reasons why we’re thankful this holiday season.

1.  The Sun Is Awesome

There’s no other way to put it.  The sun is truly awesome.  It shines more energy on the planet in 1 hour than the entire world’s population could use in 1 year.

And that energy is free, clean, and essentially infinite.  All that’s required of us is to harness that green energy using state-of-the-art solar panels.

2.  The Solar Industry Is Awesome

2012 was a record-breaking year for the solar industry.  More than 83,000 new residential installations went online last year.  And we’re on course to exceed that number for 2013.  And maybe again the following year.

3.  San Diego’s Solar Industry Is Awesome

San Diego is a great place to go solar.  We have year-round sunshine and expensive grid electricity.  And we also managed to preserve 2 of the most important solar incentives we’ve ever had:

  • Net metering was in danger for a bit.  But it looks like this incentive will be around for a while longer.

4.  Our Year Has Been Awesome

As San Diego solar installers, we have one of the best gigs in the world.  At Sunline Energy, we help businesses and homeowners transition to cleaner and more affordable lifestyles.

Lifestyles powered by pure sunshine.

It’s hard work, to be sure.  But it’s also very rewarding.  And 2013 has been one of the most rewarding and active years we’ve ever had.  It’s hard not to be thankful for that.

5.  YOU Are Awesome!!!!

Green legislation.  Progressive politicians.  Licensed solar installers.  These are all necessary ingredients for a successful solar revolution.

But the most important component (after the sun) is the user.

Ordinary people who make the extraordinary decision to go solar.  People like you who decide that a world powered by sunshine is better than a world powered by dirty fossil fuel.

May You Have a Sunny & Happy Thanksgiving

Some of you may travel to other parts of the country this Thanksgiving.  Others of you will receive out-of-town guests and family.

But no matter where you spend this holiday, we hope it’s filled with sunshine, love, and delicious food.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all… from your favorite San Diego solar installers.
