Hear From Our Customers
“It’s been more than a month since our solar has been operational and I can’t stress enough how grateful we are for choosing Sunline Energy for this project.
Our first interaction with Sunline was with Matthew to give us a quote. We had about 4 other quotes but he was the only one that actually took his time explaining all the details of the project to us. He was very knowledgeable of every product Sunline has to offer. We also never felt the “pressure” to go with their company from him. He kept in touch through email/texts and was very prompt with every response, Cc’ing others that have the need to know to keep them informed as well. Seeing this, I know that the communication within their company is great.
When I had a question that is not in-line with Matthew’s expertise, Alex (Project Manager) was always there to provide clarification with the details of our project.
Liz/Jacob kept in touch with updates and timelines through email. From site survey, estimated installation dates, HOA approval, forms that need to be submitted and all other administrative aspects of our project, we were informed and assisted all the way through.
Wade and Sinti were our installers. I could not express enough how professional these two gentlemen were. From the very first roof tile removed, all the way to the last flip of the switch to turn on the system, they were very meticulous with the job. I did not once ever felt that they forgot to do something or that they were rushing the job. Everyday they cleaned up after themselves and even offered to dispose of tiles that will not be used. They also both expressed to me how much Sunline is taking care of their people.
With our unique World situation due to the Covid pandemic, I was worried that there would be a delay on our install. Sunline did a great job keeping us posted with what’s going on and still managed to get our project completed as per schedule.
When we got the Permission to Operate, Morgan emailed us to schedule a tele-walkthrough on how to install the Enphase application and navigate through it. He was well versed with the app and answered all of my questions. The app is user friendly and shows every detail of the system.
Now that our system is up and running, I am very pleased with how it’s going so far since it’s producing more than what was initially projected. I highly recommend Sunline to anyone looking to go green.
Do I Qualify For Solar?
Here are some simple qualifying questions.
Do you own a home?
Adding panels to a home that you don’t own is not beneficial.
Does your roof have any obstructions?
Anything from a chimney and pipes can obstruct the placement of your solar panel. Solar panels work from sun exposure and if your roof has excess shading due to trees around the home, you might want to consider trimming them to allow more sun exposure.
How’s your roof strength?
It’s important to have roof stability and strength. If not we also offer roofing services in San Diego, to help with any roofing issues.

Does Solar Energy Have Environmental Benefits?
What is Net Metering?
Net metering is a system that local utilities use to credit solar energy home and business owners for the electricity produced by their solar panel system. With net metering, you pay for the electricity that you use from how much your panels can generate.
How Does Solar Impact My Property Value?
It has been shown that homes with solar energy systems will sell more than those without them. Property value will only increase if the system is owned rather than leased. In California adding solar panels your home will increase in property value.
Will I Still Receive an Electric Bill if I have Solar Panels?
Unless your home includes a battery storage and you are fully off the grid, you will receive a bill from your local utility bill. However, you can greatly reduce your electricity bill, or even cut the bill to $0, when a solar panel system matches the use of your energy.
Do Solar Panels Work During a Blackout?
If your solar panel is connected to the grid, during a blackout it will shut off. This is to prevent electricity repair-people and emergency responders from being injured by stopping power being sent to the grid. However, there are some inverters that you can buy to provide backup power such as a solar battery.
How Much Will Solar Panel Maintenance Cost?
Solar panels systems are durable and require very little to no maintenance for 25 -35 years. If something does happen to your solar panels or equipment manufacturers should include warranties, although those types of warranties depend on the company you hire. Sunline Energy offers a 25 year warranty on solar panels and components.
Do Solar Panels Produce Power On a Cloudy Day?
The amount of power your solar energy system generates depends on the sun. When the weather is cloudy or rainy your solar panels will produce less and won’t produce any energy at night.
